Safari is a painting series by Luka Širok inspired by the experience of the pandemic period, which often felt like moving through reality as if on a safari. Everyday situations appeared distant and unfamiliar, creating the sense of observing the world from a position of distance.

The series was presented in the exhibition RRRRRR at the City Gallery of Nova Gorica, where the works were installed together with a spatial installation constructed from wooden stepped structures
