Dogs and Cats is a painting series by Luka Širok exploring mass, corporeality and texture through dense painterly structures. The works emerge from accumulations of micro gestures and material layers that gradually form bodies and organic shapes.

Part of the series focuses on human masses and bodily structures, where fragmented figures appear as dense accumulations of texture and movement. These works were presented in a group exhibition at the Lokarjeva galerija.

Another part of the series introduces animal figures—dogs and cats—emerging from the same textured painterly processes. These works were exhibited in Austria at the Galerie ZügänglicheKUNST.
